I finally came up with creating a simple sub-class of NPoco.Database for each database I needed to connect to, then using Container.RegisterConditional to register the instances. Since the SimpleInjector doc examples use classes that implement ILogger and all have parameter-less constructors, I was finding it difficult to figure out how to make my scenario work. I needed a way to use multiple instances of a single concrete-type (in my case NPoco.Database) initialized with different parameters (connection string names). I am posting my solution for anyone landing here with a problem like mine. My situation was similar to this, but a little bit simpler. The example from the simple injector documentation provides a good basis for something like this that does not require you to rewrite classes that use an injected IDataBaseSqlServerDapper. If your goal is to load data from multiple datasources, you'll need to have some kind of logic that allows your code to determine which source it should use to store/load data. If you simply want to change where the data is going, can't you just replace the old existing handler? I need to make an endpoint to get info from a different db but I don't know how to register a new connection. Simple Injector's documentation lists a good example how you can use both Register and Collection.Register side by side to get it working ( source). This means that you'll either have to change the constructor to accept IEnumerable or register a non-collection IDataBaseSqlServerDapper Meaning that your DI does not know how to resolve a single IDataBaseSqlServerDapper, only a collection of them. In the second case you are registering multiple services of type IDataBaseSqlServerDapper. In the existing case you specify that type IDataBaseSqlServerDapper can be used for injection, which in turn gets properly injected into your object (in this case a class that implements IDapperQueryFactory). There is, however, a registration for IEnumerable Did you mean to depend on IEnumerable? Please ensure IDataBaseSqlServerDapper is registered, or change the constructor of DapperQueryFactory. The constructor of type DapperQueryFactory contains the parameter with name 'dataBaseSqlServerDapper' and type IDataBaseSqlServerDapper that is not registered. Creating the instance for type IDapperQueryFactory failed. SqlServerDb, AdmbbDd and Connection are classes that contains the names of the connection strings. ![]() () => new PetaPoco.Database(Connection.SurveyEngine) () => new OrmLiteConnectionFactory(SqlServerDb.ConnectionString(), () => new DataBaseSqlServerDapper(SqlServerDb.ConnectionString(), These are the existing registrations for the main db: _container.Register( I'm working with an existing Web Api that uses Simple Injector to register a single database connection. ![]() Literacy, Language, & Social-Emotional Considerations These phonological patterns often lead to reduced speech intelligibility.Įxample: A student simplifies entire classes of sounds they can produce /k/ and /g/ in isolation but habitually swaps in sounds that are produced in the front of their mouth as and (i.e., fronting phonological patterns, “tan” for can and “dough” for go).īecause this is a longer post, here’s an outline of everything we’ll cover:Ĥ. Audible alarm: Like the banker’s button discussed above, some will sound an audible alarm.Generally speaking, panic buttons all serve the same purpose – to alert others to a dangerous situation and call for help. If he/she is under duress, they can simply push the button, sounding an audible or silent alarm. Panic buttons are physical buttons or switches that are mounted under the teller’s desk at a bank. If you’ve watched a movie that featured a bank robbery, you probably know what these are. Today the term panic button is most commonly used to describe a security measure often seen at banks. When this button was pushed, it was the signal for the troopers to bail out. An onboard intercom was used to communicate with the paratroopers in the plane, but if this was damaged, a backup bell system was used – activated by a button. The original panic button was installed in B-17 and B-24 bombers in World War 2. Eventually, the term became more widely used, and it soon entered the English lexicon. When a pilot pushed the eject button or a button that activated other emergency measures on the plane, fellow pilots would say “He pushed the panic button.” It was a means of razzing one another. The term “panic button” actually originated with US Air Force pilots during the Korean War. That being said, some amazing things can be accomplished with simply the push of a button. However, to the great disappointment of one unnamed consumer, the button didn’t actually solve all problems… These buttons were eventually sold on their official website, and are still available today. ![]() No matter how difficult a situation, simply pushing the Easy Button solved the problem. Pluto is the first KBO that we have sent a spacecraft to. ( At right: Christa Van Laerhoven in Hawaii to visit the Mauna Kea Observatory.) Regardless of what we call it, Pluto is fascinating. The same sort of reclassification happened to Ceres and other asteroids after more and more asteroids were discovered. ![]() Like the small bodies of the solar system, Pluto doesn't gravitationally dominate other things with similar orbits. Like the major planets, Pluto is massive enough to have pulled itself into a sphere. When the International Astronomical Union reclassified Pluto as a 'dwarf planet' in 2006, it recognized that Pluto inhabits a middle ground between the eight major planets and the small bodies of the solar system. With the discovery of Eris, which is more massive than Pluto, it became clear that either Pluto should not be considered a planet, or that Eris and others should also be called planets.
